Cinnamon Hearts

*1 C. Applesauce
*1 1/2 C. Cinnamon
*1/3 C. nontoxic White Glue
*Cutting Board
*Heart-Shaped Cookie Cutter
*Plastic Straw
*Cooling Rack
*Red Ribbon

In a medium size bowl, mix the applesauce, cinnamon, and glue to form a ball. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to prevent sticking.  (mixture can be left in fridge to chill overnight)

Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on large cutting board and roll out the dough ball to 1/4 inch thickness. (Don't make them too thin or dough will be fragile). Cut with heart shape cutters and using plastic straw, punch a hole in the top center of each heart, two holes if you're planning on stringing these like garland. Place on open cooling rack and let dry for two days. Makes about 30 hearts.
